Job Summary/Basic Function
Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and verifying Foreign National Information Forms (FNIF) and processing and maintaining the forms in Banner and in the Windstar Tax Navigator systems. When tax treaties exist and employees have been determined to be eligible for these treaties, responsible for entering the appropriate treaty and federal withholding tax deductions in the payroll system; monitor treaty maximums for tax purposes; administer and maintain routing queues for all WTE time reporting; responsible for running queries against the Banner database to determine status of WTE time sheets and communicating with approvers/proxies/employees to resolve WTE time sheet issues; assist with the monthly hourly payroll processing; responsible for coordinating sick leave bank application procedures with employees; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree required. High school diploma or high school equivalency (HSE) and six years directly related clerical or office management experience may be considered in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.
Required Related Experience
Two years progressively responsible directly related payroll, administrative assistant or clerical support experience required.
Desirable Related Experience
Federal withholding tax and net pay calculations, FLSA regulations, and tax treaty exemption experience is desired.
