Assistant Dairy Manager Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Middle Tennessee State University Farm Laboratories is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Assistant Dairy Manager for its modern dairy operation. This position will provide assistance to the Manager in all aspects of operating a modern academic/research oriented dairy operation. As assigned by the Manager, duties will include assistance with heat detection and artificial insemination (A.I.); maintain running inventory of dairy animals; speak effectively about dairy industry to classes, tour groups and general public; assign weekly work schedules for 5 - 7 students; train students as needed in proper industry standards for milk parlor management, total mixed rations, sanitary requirements, and equipment operation (tractors, mixers, skid steers, bale wrapper, milk tank and parlor, etc.); and milk cows up to 5 times per week. The Assistant Athletic Trainer has primary responsibility to assist with the overall medical and health related care of student athletes participating in NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletic teams within the University. Serve as part of the advising team to provide guidance for Media and Entertainment students, providng assistance in academic growth and adjustment to university life. The college Advisors will work with the following groups of students: Traditional Students, Prescribed Students, Undeclared Students, Transfer Students and Traditional Students Meta Major as defined herein. Traditional advisors will work with students from the point of matriculation to graduation. The primary role of a traditional advisor is to provide educational guidance and assistance for students by planning schedules, recommending courses and determining appropriate education solutions for different types of students. The traditional advisor will monitor student progression and intervene as necessary to ensure students stay on track for graduation. The traditional advisor is responsible for the retention of the students assigned to them and will have regular contact with the students to ensure they are aware of available interventions that could help the student succeed. Service Desk Manager Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Service Desk manager position provides leadership and oversight of the MTSU Information Technology Service Desk. The manager will be responsible for the administration, support, and maintenance of the ITSM ticketing platform (ServiceNow), including, but not limited to, incident management, knowledgebase article management, and service catalog continuity. The manager is a key component of providing operational effectiveness by managing the performance of Tier 1 and Tier 2 support personnel and ensuring escalation paths and processes are properly defined and maximized for efficacy and efficiency. The manager is also responsible for ensuring that service desk staff are meeting and exceeding expectations in regard to performance, defining and meeting metrics, and ensuring that standards and processes are followed to provide optimal customer service.
