Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, the Manager of Intercultural and Diversity Affairs (IDA) is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of multicultural programming that provides support to the campus community including international and domestic students who represent various cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. Essential tasks include: advise, counsel, and mentor multicultural students with academic, career, and personal issues: referring students to proper campus offices as appropriate. Serve as an advocate for multicultural student organizations and create programming to directly influence retention and graduation success.
Research Associate Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Under the direction of the Business and Economic Research Center (BERC) director, the Research Associate performs a wide range of duties in support of the regional economic, business, and community professional services that BERC provides. These duties may include economic and fiscal impact analyses; feasibility studies; statistical analyses; economic and business trend analyses; regional performance analyses and benchmarking; survey design; literature review on economic and business issues and studies; database creation and maintenance; presentation of data using current visualization tools; and grant proposal development, writing, and submission.
Operations Coordinator - Men's Basketball Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Operations Coordinator for Men's Basketball will assist the Head Men's Basketball Coach to develop a quality NCAA Division I Men's Basketball program that will be competitive on the floor and in the classroom. Duties will include but not be limited to: Work directly with the Head Men's Basketball coach and oversee all team travel arrangements including hotels, meals, and transportation. Assist with the development of a community outreach program and oversee the public service projects for Men's Basketball. Additional tasks include: coordination of recruiting activities to include written correspondence with prospective student athletes and all official visit arrangements; development of annual clinics and summer camp structure; and assist to monitor academic progress. The incumbent will serve as a liaison to the Compliance office, the BRAA, High School Coaches and other groups as assigned; make public appearances or speak at civic events within the community in the absence of the head men's basketball coach. Know and follow all NCAA rules and regulations and report any known violations to the Director of Compliance. The incumbent shall serve as a positive role model for the athletes; oversee/resolve team issues not directly associated with coaching; work with the coaches to develop scouting reports for the athletes throughout the season and perform other related duties as assigned.
Project Manager - Forensic Institute Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Reporting to the Director of the Forensic Institute for Research & Education (FIRE) the incumbent will assist in bringing a forensic science emphasis to Middle Tennessee State University. The incumbent will coordinate and manage of a wide variety of training and instructional programs performed by FIRE, to include developing workshops, conferences and seminars, and professional continuing education classes. These programs will be dependent on external funding, and the incumbent must be able to apply a professional knowledge of institutional funding processes to fully research and successfully compete for a wide variety of external opportunities, such as grants and cooperative agreements. The incumbent will be expected to draw upon their professional training and experience in these areas to oversee the day-to-day management of these agreements with a minimum of daily oversight.

Serve as a direct report to the Disability & Access Center (DAC) Director. Manage walk-in traffic, assist with phone calls, schedule appointments for DAC staff, and manage general email inbox.
