Provides leadership, direction, and management for Library Technology in the James E. Walker Library. This position is vital in contributing to the library’s strategic priorities through the development and implementation of innovative enterprise and educational technology that advances the delivery of services and support to the MTSU community. It explores emerging technologies relevant to accomplishing the library and university mission of experiential and continuous learning. Directly supervises three full-time personnel and oversees management of four additional full-time personnel and a team of 45+ student employees. Clearly communicates expectations, completes evaluations, and guides performance, professional development, and training for the department. Responsible for the selection, design, and implementation of the library’s extensive and complex public and staff computing environments as well as the MakerSpace. Develops and monitors the Library Technology department budget; assures effective desktop support for staff and public end users. Actively engages and contributes to the Library’s Leadership Team. Facilitates communication of library technology priorities with campus technology committees and other campus IT units. Applies effective project management and problem-solving strategies to accomplish the work of the department. Responsible for determining library server and storage requirements, technology disaster recovery strategies as well as privacy and security measures that align with MTSU policy.
Director - WMOT Development (Search Extended) Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Director of WMOT Development manages all aspects of listener support efforts, including the planning and execution of on-air drives, renewal letter campaigns and communications. Key Responsibilities: • Manage donor records and financial transactions. • Collaborate on research leading to the creation and execution of strategies and programs that increase membership. • Establish and maintain rapport with active membership base. • Plan and manage bi-annual on-air fundraising drives and any approved supplemental campaigns ie: end of year, end of fiscal year. • Create training and organize all support structures for the drives; this includes business support in the form of on-air drive matches and in-kind donations, volunteers, messaging, and tracking gifts • Works with WMOT Executive Director on annual fundraising calendar, digital/off-air campaigns and stewardship initiatives including building relationships with major donors • Communicate projections and actuals to WMOT Executive Director • Day-to-day management of the department including customer service for membership-based inquiries and ongoing reconciliation of funds taken in as reflected by the station’s membership software. • Attend and work membership/promotions at WMOT events including Wired In, AmericanaFest, and Roots on the Rivers • All other duties as assigned Your Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree and four years of experience in nonprofit fundraising • Superior verbal and written communication skills in English • Strong sales and marketing skills • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently in a dynamic environment You'll be preferred if you have: • Experience in non-profit fundraising • Experience producing copy for digital, print and broadcast • Proficiency with spreadsheets, data entry and social media management
Assistant Director - Alumni Relations Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Assist the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance develop, monitor and oversee all aspects of NCAA compliance for 17 NCAA Division I athletic programs. Essential tasks include: assist to investigate infractions of NCAA rules; assist with the implementation of a comprehensive rules education program; monitor all NCAA documentation required from the coaches for the operation of the athletic program.
