$51,415 - $64,011; commensurate with experience

Job Summary/Basic Function

Provide direct support to university personnel to find, apply for, and process grants and contracts for research and sponsored programs. Identify potential funding opportunities with federal, state, and private funders and disseminate information to the university community. Provide direct support and oversight to applicants during proposal preparation to ensure applications for funding are complete, competitive and in compliance with funder and University requirements. Submit proposals on behalf of the University. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education

Master’s Degree with 1 year of experience (see below) or bachelor’s degree with 4 years of progressively responsible experience (see below).

Required Related Experience

With master’s degree: 1 year of experience in grant writing, research administration, development, public relations, customer service/support, or another related field

Desirable Related Experience

Prior experience in higher education administration preferred.

Desirable License/Registration/Certification

Certified Research Administrator certification preferred.
