$36,443 - $42,000; commensurate with experience

Job Summary/Basic Function

Serve as 12-month project archivist for grant-funded digitization project involving print materials from the Center for Popular Music archive. Scan rare books and manage organization of resulting digital files on the Center's internal server, update catalog records with descriptive data and other information as needed, work with one graduate assistant assigned to the project under the supervision of Center director and archivist.

Required Education

Master's degree from an accredited institution in an area relating directly to the Center's mission.

Required Related Experience

One year internship, student, or professional experience in an archive, library, or similar setting.

Desirable Related Experience

Scanning and digitization of print materials, handling and preservation of rare books, working with archival collections, working with music-related materials, cataloging using DACS/Dublin Core.
