Job Summary/Basic Function
The Recruiting Coordinator is an integral member of the Career Development Center that provides technical and operational support to facilitate relationships between industry partners and students, alumni and faculty, and staff. Serving as a direct report to the Supervisor of Employer Relations, this position ensures job postings are screened and approved in a timely manner in accordance with our recruitment policies. Assist employers with logistics for career fairs, tabling, interviews, and on-campus presentations. Work closely with the Supervisor of Employer Relations to effectively plan and organize many different on-campus and virtual fairs for the Career Development Center and campus partners. Support the efficient installation and daily use of Handshake, the primary database for the Career Development Center. Manage the Career Development Center's primary email inbox answering student, parent, and employer questions. Manage the Center’s website and remain active on social media. Deliver a high caliber of customer service to internal and external collaborators to make connecting employers with students and alumni a top priority. Represent the Center to new students, graduate students, and parents at cross-campus events. Run analytics about student and employer engagement and develop necessary reports for University needs. Perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.
Required Related Experience
High school diploma or high school equivalency and four years of progressively responsible secretarial/clerical or administrative office experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree requirement.
Desirable Related Experience
Advanced administrative experience involving communication, organizing, and reporting preferred.
