Job Summary/Basic Function
The Department of Communication Studies at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for four full-time, temporary (non-tenurable) faculty positions (#130150, #130390, #123235) and #415040) at the rank of Lecturer. These are one year appointments with possible annual renewal for up to three years total. Start date for the positions is August 1, 2021. Positions contingent upon funding.
Successful candidates will teach communication courses such as, but not limited to, Fundamentals of Communication.
Required Education
A Master's degree in Communication or closely related field by appointment date
Other Desirables
Applicants who possess three years of university teaching experience will receive special consideration as will applicants with evidence of teaching excellence in Public Speaking in the form of evaluations by students and/or peers.
