Job Description

Reporting to the Director University Writing Center (UWC); oversee the daily operations of the Center: create and maintain statistical databases and reports; work closely with the UWC Director to plan and implement writing program activities and functions in the University Writing Center. Perform other related tasks or special projects as assigned.

Required Educational Qualifications and Field of Study

Master’s degree in Communication Studies, Speech Communication, English, Rhetoric, and/or related discipline required.

Required Year(s) and Type of Work Experience

One (1) year experience in Speaking, Writing, or Communication Center required.

Preferred Year(s) and Type of Work Experience

Two (2) years teaching composition experience preferred.

Certificates/ Licenses Preferred


Salary Range $39,025 - $48,585; commensurate with experience
