Job Description

The Department of History seeks experienced applicants for a research-track professor at the rank of assistant/associate. Start date for this position is August 1, 2017.

This is a non-tenurable position, renewable annually. The successful candidate will teach classes in the Reading History Initiative; coordinate the program; track, report, and publish on its success; write grants in support of the program, and develop curriculum in response to the changing research landscape of student success and retention. Successful candidates will be expected to publish.

Required Education

PhD in History or closely related field.

Candidates with experience in high impact teaching practices, especially the development and administration of a co-requisite learning program will receive special consideration.
