Patrol Sergeant Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Patrol Sergeant serves as the shift supervisor for the patrol shift. The Patrol Sergeant ensures the professional and timely delivery of services to the university community. University Police Officers work to provide safety and security for Middle Tennessee State University students, faculty, staff, and visitors. As the most visible portion of the university's safety initiatives, University Police Officers patrol the campus and answer calls for service on foot, in cars and on bicycles 24-hours a day. Classroom Control System Programmer Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Classroom Control System Programmer will be the functional lead audio visual programmer responsible for programming, servicing, supporting, and administering various A/V systems on the MTSU campus including, but not limited to, learning spaces, computer labs, conference and event spaces, and other related areas containing A/V control systems and interfaces. These systems are technically complex and require knowledge and experience with multiple programming modalities and manufacturer specific code. Changes in systems programming is required any time specific hardware components are either installed, replaced, or upgraded within these spaces. This position also provides professional guidance and project management for the design and installation of new and existing A/V control systems to ensure complete functionality of the equipment at the project’s completion. Extensive knowledge of multiple programming and scripting languages, audio and visual control systems, sound engineering, digital signal processing systems, and GUI driven control interfaces is necessary to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of this position. Finally, this position will be required to assist in project planning of new buildings, building renovations, and modifications to campus learning spaces and conference rooms.
