Advisor - College of Liberal Arts Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Advisors in the College of Liberal Arts will work with students and faculty in all liberal arts disciplines. However, each advisor is assigned a specific academic population to ensure continuity in advising and the opportunity for rapport building. This Advisor position will work primarily with School of Music majors and minors. The advisor is responsible for the retention of the students assigned to them and will have regular contact with the students to ensure they are aware of available interventions that could help the student succeed. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate student records using internal student tracking software to support the retention strategies and evaluate student progress and satisfaction. The Director of Broadcast Operations for WMOT 89.5 FM oversees the day-to-day operations of our noncommercial, American Roots radio station, HD channels, and digital streaming.
