Job Summary/Basic Function
The Department of Computer Science at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for two full-time, tenure-track faculty positions (#137170 and #137040) at the rank of assistant/associate professor. The start date for the position is August 1, 2023. The position is contingent upon funding.
The successful candidates will be committed to excellence in teaching and research. While teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, successful candidates are expected to engage students (including undergraduates) in research.
The Department of Computer Science offers BS and MS degrees and is closely connected with the Data Science and Computational Sciences PhD programs. Required Education
A terminal degree or computer science or a closely related field by the appointment date
Other Desirables
Applicants with a background in cyber security, high-performance computing, machine learning, cloud computing, mobile computing, or data science will receive special consideration.
