Job Summary/Basic Function
Serve as office supervisor to provide secretarial/clerical office support for the department of Procurement Logistic Services. Essential tasks include reception, secretarial and clerical tasks, data entry including MT$ource and Banner; respond to questions regarding the MT$ource eProcurement bid process; respond to questions related to requisitions and purchase orders; maintain all accounting records and perform budget reconciliations for Procurement Logistic Services, Warehouse Services, and Receiving & Moving Services; process requisitions; generate and prepare departmental reports; with direct supervision and guidance serve as buyer in training and perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.
Required Education
High School diploma or High School Equivalency (HSE) required.
Required Related Experience
Three years of progressively responsible secretarial/clerical experience required. Experience to include bookkeeping, order processing, purchasing, office management or directly related experience.
Desirable Related Experience
Four years of progressively responsible secretarial/clerical experience required. Experience to include bookkeeping, order processing, purchasing, office management or directly related experience in a university setting preferred. CPS preferred. Associate degree preferred.
