Job Summary/Basic Function
Lead and assist a crew to prepare for and facilitate events in the Murphy Center Complex (MCC). Essential tasks include: prepare for events in Murphy Center Complex facilities by setting up equipment such as staging, pipe/drape, tables and chairs. Assist MCC administrator during assigned events by unlocking or locking building, setting up or breaking down equipment, and leading event service staff such as parking attendants. Train, schedule, and supervise student and/or temporary employees. Assemble any equipment purchased for MCC. Monitor safety and cleanliness of facilities during event. Perform repairs on equipment within the Murphy Center Complex which includes arena seats, replacing ceiling tiles, tables, chairs, staging and other items if needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education
High School diploma or High School Equivalency (HSE) required.
Required Related Experience
Entry level position.
Desirable Related Experience
One year directly related experience is preferred.
