Job Summary/Basic Function

Reporting to the Director Disability & Access Center, assist with the administration and direction of a comprehensive Disability & Access Center program, including approving and providing appropriate accommodations, ensuring equal access to programs and activities, and monitoring compliance with state and federal laws. Coordinate and provide a variety of services, including determining appropriate accommodations and communicating those accommodations to faculty; managing testing operations that provides accommodations; providing access to adaptive computer technologies; creating social and recreational programming opportunities; and serving as liaison to other areas of the university. The Associate Director works closely with the Director in the overall operation of the program to include: hire and train workers, and other staff; provide direct services to students and perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.

Required Education

Master's Degree required.

Required Related Experience

Two (2) years progressively responsible experience working with disability related and/or academic support services for students in an educational setting.
