Job Summary/Basic Function
The Department of History at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for two full-time, temporary (non-tenurable) faculty positions (#123295 and #126080) at the rank of Lecturer. Successful candidates will teach US history surveys. These are one year appointments with possible annual renewal for up to three years total. Start date for the positions is August 1, 2021. Positions contingent upon funding.
Required Education
PhD in History or closely related field by appointment date
Other Desirables
Applicants who possess experience with high impact teaching practies including learning communities, Reacting to the Past, experiential learning, integrative learning, supplemental instruction, and co-requisite collaboration will receive special consideration.
